This is the first big volunteer event for the landscape renovation project. The task will be to prune all the unruly rhododendrons surrounding the clubhouse parking lot. The designer, Shannon Grina will be on hand to instruct and guide how to properly prune to help return some of the natural beauty of the plant. Many of these have not been touched for years or were pruned by someone with no knowledge of how to keep the plant shapely and attractive. All are welcome to join us.
We are meeting on Monday, June 3 at 9:30am at the clubhouse. Bring your pruning shears if you have some. We may have a couple extra shears to share if needed. Be advised there is currently some rain in the forecast. If you are a fair-weather person, we understand. If 9:30am is too early, just show up when convenient. I am not sure how long this will take or if it might need to be spread out to an additional day. The bottom line is that whatever works for you, works for us!!
