So Many interesting events, experiences, workshops, speakers are being planned by members in our great community. Suggestions of how to let you know about them are always welcome.
This is what has worked best over the years:
Various signboards are at the clubhouse in various sizes: The large one can be written on with supplied pens with washable ink; These are readable from both sides. (up the hill and down the hill)
There are 2 small wooden boards, We have used valcro squares in the corners of signs that can be easily lifted off and replaced with another. Just put your valcro squares on the existing ones, remove the protective tape and mount your sign. REMEMBER, SIGNS ARE TWO SIDED. Need helpl? Call Jean Farrington to show you how to do this.
For the best signs? I use Ariel Black for the boldest type, I use it as large as it can be. Because of our weather I often have them lammenated at the mail shop by Papa Murphy’s (Postalannex).
Please don’t write on an existing sign. Someone may be counting on using it again.
Announce your event at a monthly Social. Announce your event at the end of a Board of Trustee Meeting so it will go in the minutes. Send a blast to the admin. We are happy to post it!
Between these things you are really covering exposure to the community in a safe way.
Plan your event early! You can post twice (Save the Day and again, a week before your event). – no limit. The sooner you plan the more you can post.
